Abstract:
Provided is a superconducting wire material heat treatment bobbin that can appropriately handle a heat-treated superconducting wire material. To that end, a superconducting wire material heat treatment bobbin (100) includes: one or a plurality of upper winding frames (1) that are arranged in a cylindrical manner and that each have ends (1a, 2a) along an axial direction; and a circumferential length adjusting mechanism (3) that is provided to a pair of ends (1a, 2a) that face each other and that adjusts an end-to-end distance (LT) that is a distance between the pair of ends (1a, 2a). The circumferential length adjusting mechanism (3) includes a circumferential length adjusting member (4) that has a melting point (T1) lower than a heat treatment temperature (T2) of a superconducting wire material (8) to be treated. The circumferential length adjusting member (4) deforms at the time of heat treatment to make the end-to-end distance (LT) after the heat treatment greater than the end-to-end distance (LT) before the heat-treatment.
