Abstract:
A supplementary braking thrust unit for brake comprises a thruster (1); a thrusting
rod (7) of the thruster (1) acts on the braking part (9). Said supplementary braking
thrust unit for brake also comprises a supplementary braking mechanism which
acts on the braking arms (10) so as to achieve supplementary braking. A supplementary
braking method for a brake comprises the following steps: using a thruster (1)
to provide braking action on braking arms (10), and using a supplementary braking
mechanism to provide further braking action on said braking arms (10) so as to
achieve supplementary braking for the brake.
