Abstract:
A supplied heat quantity estimation method according to the present invention is intended to estimate the quantity of heat suppled to a hot metal in a blast furnace from the quantity of heat supplied into the blast furnace and the velocity of the production of the hot metal in the blast furnace, the method comprising an estimation step for estimating the change in a take-out sensible heat that is taken out by an in-furnace passing gas, i.e., a gas passing through the inside of the furnace, and the change in a carry-in sensible heat that is supplied by a raw material preheated with the in-furnace passing gas, then estimating the quantity of heat supplied to the hot metal in the blast furnace with taking the estimate changes in the take-out sensible heat and the carry-in sensible heat into consideration. The estimation step includes: a step for estimating the take-out sensible heat with taking the quantity of heat discharged outside the blast furnace by slipping into consideration and also estimating the change in the carry-in sensible heat with taking the change in surface height of the raw material by slipping into consideration; and a step for estimating the quantity of heat retained in core coke present in the blast furnace and then estimating the quantity of heat supplied to the hot metal in the blast furnace with taking the estimated quantity of heat retained in the core coke into consideration.
