Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a supply and demand adjustment device, a supply and demand adjustment system, and an energy supply-and-demand adjustment method capable of accurately achieving a target energy reduction amount and capable of allowing the amount of possible energy reduction by the customer to be changed. The supply and demand adjustment device 101 sets, to a value larger than a target value, an energy reduction request amount at a scheduled time and date when energy usage is reduced and notifies a supply and demand arbitration device 102 of the reduction request amount together with the scheduled time and date. The supply and demand adjustment device 101 receives the total amount of energy that can be reduced by a customer from the supply and demand arbitration device 102 as a response to the notification. The supply and demand adjustment device 101 inquires of the supply and demand arbitration device 102 in association with approaching of the scheduled time and date about the total amount of energy that can be reduced by the customer at the time. The supply and demand adjustment device 101 reduces the reduction request amount in a step-like manner so as to bring the reduction request amount closer to the target value and on each occasion notifies the supply and demand arbitration device 102 of the reduction request amount.
