Abstract:
A support for crystallization separation which is a compound reversibly changing from a liquid-phase state to a solid-phase state with changing solution composition and/or solution temperature. The support for crystallization separation has a reactive site which combines with other compound, the reactive site having one or more atoms selected among carbon, oxygen, sulfur, and nitrogen atoms and combining with other compound through any of carbon, nitrogen, sulfur, and nitrogen atoms. When the support is used, a chemical reaction can be conducted in a liquid phase and a specific substance can be selectively solidified (crystallized) and easily separated from the liquid phase after completion of the reaction. Furthermore, the compound separated can be identified, for example, by subjecting the compound in the state of being bonded to the support to structural analysis.
