Description:

Support means comprising a hooking profile

The present invention is related to a support means comprising a hooking profile for rapidly to secure temporary lifted objects, according to the preamble of the claims. Platforms of the above mentioned kind comprise trapdoor platforms which in the design of today for use as floor formwork are expensive to provide. This is mainly based on the fact that such trapdoor platforms are constructed and after moulding demounted on the same construction site. Furthermore are large and not current trapdoor platforms frequently used, resulting in time consuming construction works in situ partly due to the use of a large amount of nails, further that trapdoor platforms need large space for storing and finally that heavy trapdoor platforms have to be mounted by the use of large building cranes.

The mounting of traditional trapdoor platforms is as such not without problems as it is generally not allowed to walk under hanging loads. Constructed trapdoor platforms are for example mounted to vertical respectively free standing pillars or to a framework adapted for every single trapdoor platform. Trapdoor platforms having hinged pillars increase cost due to several loose parts.

To use on site mounted trapdoor platforms for floor formwork economically acceptable the should be a possibility to use the formwork at least twice, preferably several times.

Built up trapdoor platforms for floor formwork are considered the most effective type of formwork for floor formworks when the conditions are good taken care of. This because trapdoor platforms easily can be mounted and removed or dismounted. Trapdoor platforms additionally enable early dismounted as the floor as such may be supported during the dismounting work. Early dismounting releases materials for further formwork construction works, which may be of importance considering the requirement for investment in material for formworks.

Trapdoor platforms for floor formwork may for example be used for apartment buildings where the same formwork can be used several times for large floor surfaces of the same size. To make use of constructed trapdoor platforms for floor formworks economically acceptable, it must be possible to use them at least twice, preferably several times.

With the support means comprising a hooking profile according to the present invention, trapdoor platforms may be used for floor formworks, roofed over to secure pedestrians safe passage on sidewalks and streets in connection with uncovered construction sites, for scaffolding works, constructed gang ways, constructed stands (trade fairs), constructed stages (entertainments), boots and halls, constructed working platforms for preproduction of large concrete elements for example for railway tracks etc. This is

achieved with the support comprising hooking profile according to the present invention as defined by the features stated in the claims.

The drawing discloses in figure 1 the hooking profile according to the invention in a perspective view, figure 2 discloses schematic hooking of a hoofing profile to a profile for mounting under an object to be supported, figure 3 discloses the hooking in figure 2 after mounting, and figure 4 discloses a lifted trapdoor platform by mounting two supports having the hooking profile according to the invention.

Preferably only two sizes of trapdoor platforms are used in connection with the support means comprising hooking profiles according to the present invention, that is to say 3 x 3 modules and 2 x 3 modules, the dimension of each module thereby being elected to be 62,5 cm. Each trapdoor platform being constructed as one large trapdoor or three trapdoors of the same size. With trapdoor sizes 1 X 3 modules and 1 x 2 modules an platform may be adjusted with one module in the longitudinal direction and one module in the width, independently of the size. Standardized trapdoor platforms have a simple structure and supports are only hooked up upon arrival at the construction site. Bolts for securing framework to the covering also are used as attachment for lifting of platforms.

A support comprising hooking profile being hooked on to a trapdoor platform in an inclined position is rigid to three of the four sides when pivoted in to a vertical position. A fourth side may be secured with a flange clamp. When two and two opposite supports are pivoted from outside and in to a vertical position a trapdoor platform will be secured to all sides without flange clamps. For many applications such as low scaffoldings, tool sheds, roofs above passages etc. there will be no need for additional stiffening. Use of hooking profiles therefore is very efficient for construction works as well as for removal of trapdoor platforms. The hooking profile comprises two parallel vertical side plates 1 between which are arranged parallel and at horizontal distance above each other a bottom plate 2, a guiding plate 3 and a top plate 4.

The top plate 4 comprises an extension to one side comprising a first hooking flange 7. To the other side, below the top plate 4, is arranged a flange 5 with a flange hook 6 above and at a distance from the flange 5, being secured to the flange 5 with a side plate parallel to the side plates 1.

The hooking profile is adapted to a profile 8 for attachment to the object to be supported, such as a support platform respectively a floor formwork 12. The underside and/or the upper side of the profile 8 comprises to both sides extending second and third hooking flanges 7 corresponding to the first hooking flange 7 on the hooking profile. The distance between the flange hook 6 of the hooking profile and the flange 5 enables the hoofing profile comprising an attached support 10 to be inclined to the profile 8 in such a way that the profile 8 is moved below the flange hook 6 before the hooking profile with

the support 10 is pivoted thereby arranging the flange hook 6 abutting the over upper side of the profile 8.

Hooking profiles attached to a number of supports 10 can be guided towards and being hooked to profiles 8 at each end of a floor formwork 12 as disclosed in figure 4. The flange hook 6 of the hooking profile thereby grip the third hooking flange 7. The supports 10 are secured to the hooking profile with bolts 11. The support assembly thereafter is pivoted to a vertical position and secured by flange clamps 9 clamping the second hooking flange of the profile 8 to the first hooking flange 7 of the hooking profile.

The floor formwork comprising a number of support assemblies then will be kept in a stable position until the moulding process is concluded. Thereafter the support assemblies and the floor formwork are removed.
