Abstract:
Provided is a support program 42 which can be executed by a CPU 11 of a PC 1 and which corresponds to a printer 2 to which the PC 1 is connected. If there is issued a print command for causing the printer 2 to carry out a print job via a universal print program 41 which is pre-incorporated into an OS 21 of the PC 1, the support program 42 causes the PC 1 to output an advance action command via a communication interface 30 of the PC 1 to cause the printer 2 to execute the advance action prior to commencing the print job.
The printer 2 carries out the advance action which corresponds to the advance action command.
