Title:
SURFACE-EMITTING LASER, SURFACE-EMITTING LASER ARRAY, AND LIGHT SOURCE DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2023/149087
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a surface-emitting laser for which it is possible to increase the size of a light emitting portion while suppressing an increase in size as a whole. The surface-emitting laser according to the present technology comprises a first structure including the first multilayer film reflecting mirror, a second structure including a second multilayer film reflecting mirror, an active layer disposed between the first and second structures, a first electrode electrically connected to the first structure, and a second electrode electrically connected to the second structure. The first and second electrodes are provided to the second structure in a state of being insulated from each other. According to the present technology, it is possible to provide a surface-emitting laser that makes it possible to increase the size of a light emitting portion while suppressing an increase in size as a whole.
