Abstract:
Provided are: surface-modified fibers that are capable of having improved adhesion to rubber without using resorcinol and formaldehyde; reinforcing fibers; and a molded article using same. The surface-modified fibers each include a fiber and a surface-modifying layer at least partially covering the surface of the fiber. The surface of the surface-modified layer has a solid surface zeta potential of -20.0 to 30.0 mV.
