Abstract:
Provided are the following: a surface-modifying agent capable of producing a coating film that preserves the transparency of a substrate while exhibiting high water repellency and excellent stain resistance, and especially oil-based ink wipeability; and an article using the surface-modifying agent. The surface-modifying agent is characterized by having a triazine skeleton, a (meth)acrylate group bonded to the triazine skeleton via a urethane bond, and a perfluoropolyether chain bonded to the triazine skeleton.
