[Problem] To provide a surface-treated aluminum sheet that has corrosion resistance, processing followability, and resin adhesiveness. [Solution] A surface-treated aluminum sheet characterized by comprising an aluminum base material and an amorphous layer formed on at least one surface of the aluminum base material, wherein: the aluminum base material is an aluminum sheet or an aluminum alloy sheet; and the amorphous layer contains aluminum hydroxide, has a ratio (O/Al) of elemental oxygen and elemental aluminum in the range of 1.7-3.0, and has a thickness of not less than 1 nm. Alternatively, provided is a surface-treated aluminum sheet characterized by comprising an aluminum base material and a surface treatment layer formed on at least one surface of the aluminum base material, wherein: the aluminum base material is an aluminum sheet or an aluminum alloy sheet; the surface treatment layer contains aluminum hydroxide; and in an infrared absorption spectrum as measured with FT-IR, when the height of an absorbance peak for a frequency of 850-1000 cm-1 is defined as Pa and the height of an absorbance peak for a frequency of 1000-1200cm-1 is defined as Pb, the value of Pa/Pb is not more than 6.0.
