Abstract:

　This surgical instrument comprises: a cylindrical insertion part that is inserted inside a channel of an endoscope; a surgical part that is disposed at the tip of the insertion part and is used to perform surgery by means of high-frequency power supplied by a power source device; a power-receiving electrode that is disposed along the outer peripheral surface of the insertion part, and, when the insertion part is inserted in the channel to the point where the surgical part protrudes from an opening, forms a capacitor due to being capacitively coupled with a transmission electrode, which generates an AC electric field by means of the high-frequency power supplied by the power source device on the outer peripheral surface of the channel; and a position regulating part that regulates the radial position of the insertion part inside the channel in such a manner that the amount of eccentricity corresponding to the distance between the center axis of the channel in the longitudinal direction and the center axis of the insertion part in the longitudinal direction at the position where the power-receiving electrode is disposed is below a certain value.
