Abstract:
A surgical suction nozzle which, despite the fact that the surgical suction nozzle has the ability of sucking a large clot of blood, etc., can suck a liquid element, such as a small amount of blood.
A surgical suction nozzle provided with a tip opening which is able to suck a clot of blood, etc. and also with a suction structure mounted to the front of the tip opening. A liquid element, such as a small amount of blood, can be sucked by the suction structure. Even if the tip opening is pressed against a portion near an organ, the suction structure is present between the suction opening and the surface of the organ, and this prevents the organ from being damaged by the adhesion between the organ and the suction nozzle and by the adhesion by suction. Also, when there is bleeding in a surgical site, the surgical suction nozzle sucks the blood while controlling the bleeding by pressing the bleeding portion. By doing so, the surgical suction nozzle can provide the view of the surgical site, said view enabling the treatment for stopping the bleeding.
