Abstract:
A surgical tool retraction mechanism 10 comprises: a holding part 14 that holds an endoscope 12; a guide part 16 that guides the holding part 14 so as to enable the holding part 14 to advance and retreat linearly; a locking part 20 that locks the holding part 14 with the endoscope 12 inserted into an eyeball 18; and a retracting unit 22 that releases the locked state of the locking part 20 on the basis of a signal from outside, and retracts the holding part 14.
