Title:
SURROUNDING CONDITION PREDICTION DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2011/155043
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Disclosed is a surrounding condition prediction device (1) provided with: an obstacle detecting unit (3) which detects the obstacles in the peripheral of a vehicle; a target vehicle specifying unit (11) which specifies the target vehicle from among the obstacles detected by means of the obstacle detecting unit (3); a presumed path calculating unit (12) which calculates an identification presumed path which is the path of the target vehicle when it is presumed that the target vehicle specified by means of the target vehicle specifying unit (11) identified all of the non-target obstacles which are obstacles other than the target vehicle and the vehicle, and a misidentification presumed path which is the path of the target vehicle when it is presumed that the target vehicle misidentified the non-target obstacles and/or the vehicle; a path detecting unit (13) which detects the path in which the target vehicle travelled; and a path prediction unit (15) which predicts the path of the target vehicle by comparing the identification presumed path and the a misidentification presumed path calculated by means of the presumed path calculating unit (12) and the path of the target vehicle detected by means of the path detecting unit (13).
