Abstract:
The present invention relates to a survival system for a ship, the survival system enabling the medium/long-term survival of passengers when an emergency such as the sinking or stranding of the ship occurs. The survival system comprises a capsule-type survival chamber provided inside the ship, and an oxygen supply part for supplying oxygen to the survival chamber, wherein the oxygen supply part comprises: an oxygen supply pipe of which one end is connected to an inner space of the survival chamber and the other end is connected to the outside of the hull of the ship; an extendable supply pipe normally wound around a reel at the other end of the oxygen supply pipe, and unwound from the reel so as to float to the surface of water when the hull is sinking; and a floating means provided at the end of the extendable supply pipe such that the end of the extendable supply pipe protrudes from the surface of the water by means of buoyancy.
