Abstract:
A suspension railway public transport system comprises a suspended rail track (8) and a vehicle body (10), the suspended rail track (8) being connected, by means of a wheel assembly (9), to the vehicle body (10); the suspension railway public transport system also comprises a storage battery (101) provided in the vehicle body (10), the storage battery (101) being electrically connected to the power components of the wheel assembly (9), the storage battery (101) being used for providing electrical energy to the power parts so as to drive the vehicle body (10) to move; the suspension railway public transport system further comprises a charging device provided on the suspended rail track (8) along the direction in which the rail track extends on the suspended rail track (8), the charging device being provided at a local position on the suspended rail track (8), the charging device being connected, when the vehicle body (10) passes through the suspended rail track (8) where the charging device is provided, to the storage battery (101) for charging the storage battery. The suspension railway public transport system effectively eliminates, by means of providing the storage battery in the vehicle body as an energy storing unit for the movement of the vehicle body, the dependence of a railway train on the cables of public electricity supply, and avoids, by means of providing the charging device in a local safety region, the deficiency of providing cables throughout the direction in which the suspended rail track extends.
