A sweet potato harvesting self-adaptive potato collecting and basket-loading system device having a potato falling mechanism, comprising a potato falling mechanism (1), a base (2), a lifting/lowering base (3), a lifting/lowering driving device (4), a detection unit (5), a material basket moving device (6), etc. The potato falling mechanism (1) comprises a vertical conveying unit (11) and potato receiving supporting plates (12) hinged thereto. The material basket moving device (6) comprises four groups of conveying mechanisms (62) arranged in an X-shaped layout, and the four groups of conveying mechanisms (62) can make a material basket move front and back, left and right to fit basket-loading. The detection unit (5) is a distance sensor. The device can further comprise a feeding basket mechanism (7), and a material basket storage bin of the feeding basket mechanism (7) can store a plurality of material baskets. The device is compact in structure, low in cost and high in efficiency.
