A switch device according to the present invention, which is easy to manufacture and makes it possible to achieve consistent quality, and which can ensure sufficient water-proofness and drip-proofness, comprises an external case having an opening that opens in a first direction, an internal case disposed within the external case from the opening, a switch unit provided to the internal case, and a sealing member. The external case has a recessed part provided on the periphery of the opening part, and an attachment part provided extending in a flange shape on the periphery of the recessed part. The internal case has: an insertion portion, where the switch unit is disposed, which is disposed within the external case from the opening; a flange part which is plate-shaped and which is provided continuously with the insertion portion; and a connection terminal which is provided to the reverse side of the flange part from the side on which the insertion portion is provided, and which projects in the first direction. The sealing member has the configuration of being disposed straddling an attachment surface, which is the surface of the flange part on the side on which the connection terminal is provided and the surface of the attachment part on the periphery of the recessed part, and the configuration of covering an exposed portion of the recessed part positioned on the periphery of the flange part when viewed from the first direction.
