Abstract:
This switcher device comprises: a first switch part that, as video data to be displayed on a display, receives input of a plurality of pieces of video data which are video content corresponding respectively to a plurality of cameras, and that alternatively selects and outputs one of such pieces of data; a second switch part that receives input of a plurality of pieces of video data captured respectively by a plurality of cameras imaging the video displayed on the display, and that alternatively selects and outputs one of the pieces of data; and a control unit. The control unit performs control for causing the first switch part to execute switching of video data in response to a trigger for video switching and, after a prescribed switching delay time has elapsed, causing the second switch part to execute switching to video data obtained by a camera corresponding to video data after the switching by the first switch part.
