Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to stably produce sound when a player presses keys of an electronic keyboard instrument. This switching device is provided with: a rotatable actuator; and a contact member including an upper surface part which is provided with a flat portion, and which is capable of moving in the vertical direction in accordance with the rotation of the actuator, and a deformation part which is provided between a support member and an end of the upper surface part, and which deforms in accordance with the movement of the upper surface part. In a cross-sectional view in a direction which is orthogonal to a rotational shaft of the actuator, and which is parallel to the support member, chamfer parts of the actuator which link side surfaces and a contact surface that comes into contact with the contact member are provided between: virtual planes which include ends of the upper surface part of the contact member in a direction in which the rotational shaft extends, said virtual planes being orthogonal to the upper surface part; and virtual planes which include ends of a portion of the deformation part of the contact member which comes into contact with the support member, in the direction in which the rotational shaft extends, said virtual planes being orthogonal to the upper surface part.
