Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a switching device capable of suppressing the occurrence of an arc discharge at a power cut-off time, without reducing power efficiency during the supply of power, through a small-scale configuration.
[Solution] Provided is a switching device comprising: a first switch switching between connecting and cutting-off a first current path from a power source to a load; a second switch provided parallel to the first switch, and switching between connecting and cutting-off a second current path from the power source to the load; the power source; and a circuit provided between the first switch and the second switch, for reducing the current flowing to the second switch until the second current path is put in the cut-off state by the second switch when the current from the power source is to be cut-off. When the current from the power source is to be supplied, the connection of the second switch, and then the first switch is performed in that order. When the current from the power source is to be cut-off, the cutting-off of the first switch, and then the second switch is performed in that order.
