Abstract:
Provided are a switching valve wherein a significant difference in strength depending on the direction of an external force has been minimized, and a refrigeration cycle system. A bracket (13) of a switching valve is characterized by comprising: a pair of retention plates (131) that are a pair of plate sections each provided standing upright from an outer surface of a switching valve body and positioned facing each other in a prescribed facing direction (D13), with one end side of each plate section, in an upright direction (D14) that intersects the outer surface of the switching valve body, serving as a valve body side (13a) of the bracket (13) and being fixed to the outer surface, and the other end side serving as a pilot side (13b) of the bracket (13) and retaining a pilot drive unit at said pilot side (13b); and a reinforcing section (132) that extends in the facing direction (D13) and links the pair of retention plates (131) to each other.
