A synchronization obtaining method for an RF relay in a wireless communication system using a time division duplex (TDD) method, according to the present invention, comprises: a step for controlling a gain such that an RF signal received via an antenna maintains a uniform signal size; a step for mixing a local oscillation frequency with the RF signal having the controlled gain to be directly converted into a baseband; a first LPF step for selecting and filtering only a signal of a specific frequency band from a signal converted into the baseband; a step for converting the signal filtered in the first LPF step into a digital signal by sampling the filtered signal according to a sampling frequency and outputting the digital-converted signal as I data and Q data; a digital signal processing step for demodulating the digital-converted I data and Q data to identify the existence of a synchronization signal block (SSB) in the received RF signal; a step for generating uplink and downlink synchronization time information obtained from the SSB, when the SSB exists in the RF signal; and a step for performing an uplink/downlink operation between a base station and a user equipment, according to the uplink and downlink synchronization time information.
