Abstract:
Provided is a highly practical synchronous motor control device for an electric automobile that is capable of suppressing a torque ripple through simple arithmetic operations. A synchronous motor control device (1) for controlling a synchronous motor (2) for traveling is provided with a torque ripple compensation means (3) that adds a correction current having a sine wave of an opposite phase to that of a torque ripple to a motor drive current, said torque ripple having a frequency six times as high as a rotation speed of the motor (2) and generated in the motor (2). Specifically, in the case of a configuration involving a basic control unit (9) for vector control, the torque ripple compensation means (3) outputs a correction current command (iq_c) and uses a value (iq_ref) that is obtained by adding the correction current command to a q-axis current command in order to carry out the control.
