Abstract:
Provided is a highly reliable synchronous motor driving device that is capable of highly accurately estimating and restricting a direct current, without the need for an additional configuration such as a dedicated current detection sensor. The present invention is characterized by comprising: a first direct current calculation unit that calculates a first direct current on the basis of a first voltage command value, the electric current value of a winding of a synchronous motor, and a battery voltage; a second direct current calculation unit that calculates a second direct current on the basis of the electric current value of the winding of the synchronous motor, the rotation speed of the synchronous motor, and a predetermined motor characteristic of the synchronous motor; a model error extraction unit that calculates inverter efficiency on the basis of the first direct current and the second direct current; a direct current correction unit that calculates an estimated direct current on the basis of the first direct current, the second direct current, and the inverter efficiency; and a direct current restriction unit that corrects the electric current command value of the winding on the basis of the estimated direct current and a direct current restriction value which is set in advance.
