Abstract:
The present invention provides a syngas-production catalyst structure and the like with which good catalytic activity can be stably maintained for a long time without being decreased, and with which it is possible to efficiently produce a syngas containing carbon monoxide and hydrogen. A syngas-production catalyst structure 1 is used when producing a syngas containing carbon monoxide and hydrogen and includes a carrier 10 composed of a zeolite-type compound having a porous structure, and at least one catalyst substance 20 existing inside the carrier 10. The carrier 10 has paths 11 communicating with one another. The ratio of the long side dimension L to the thickness dimension d of the carrier 10 (L/d ratio) is 5.0 or more. The catalyst substance 20 is located at least in any of the paths 11 in the carrier 10.
