Abstract:

[Problem] Conventionally, precision has been insufficient with regard to converting the word order of an original language sentence to the word order of a target language. [Solution] Word order conversion of an original language sentence to the word order of a target language can be performed with extremely high precision by a syntax analyzing device of the present invention, the device being provided with the following: a syntax analyzing unit which analyzes the syntax of a sentence received by a reception unit and acquires a first analysis result that includes one or more elements constituting the sentence and the parts of speech of each of the one or more elements and that includes one or more binary trees with the parts of speech or elements serving as nodes; a category acquisition unit which acquires a category for each of the one or more elements constituting the sentence received by the reception unit; a category insertion unit which acquires a second analysis result in which an element category is inserted between an element and the part of speech of the element, the element corresponding to the one or more categories acquired by the category acquisition unit and constituting the first analysis result; and a learning unit which outputs the second analysis result acquired by the category insertion unit.
