Abstract:
Provided is a synthesis method for thiodiethylene bis[3-(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)propionate]. The method comprises: reacting 2,6-di-tert-butylphenol with acrylate and further reacting with 2-chloroethanol to obtain the intermediate 2-chloroethyl 3-(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-tetrahydroxyphenyl)propionate; and then reacting the intermediate with sodium sulfide in the presence of a quaternary ammonium salt to obtain a target product. The synthesis method has the advantages of a simple process, a high product yield and a high product purity, and is particularly suitable for use in industrial production.
