Abstract:
Provided is a synthesized light generation device that achieves a compact size, has high production efficiency, and has reduced manufacturing costs. This synthesized light generation device comprises: a base substrate (100); an optical multiplexer substrate (200) disposed atop the base substrate (100); and a plurality of laser diodes disposed atop the base substrate (100). The optical multiplexer substrate (200) has input ports which are aligned with light emission centers of the laser diodes, thereby making adjustments of optical axes etc. unnecessary, and the base substrate (100) and the optical multiplexer substrate (200) are manufactured separately, thus raising overall production efficiency and, in turn, making it possible to reduce manufacturing costs.
