Abstract:
A synthetic method of 2-methyl-6-tert-butyl-4-dicyanomethylene-4H-pyran is disclosed. This method includes the following steps: (1). reacting pinacolone with boron trifluoride etherate to obtain 5,5-dimethyl-2,4-adipaldehyde-0,0-boron difluoride; (2). reacting the product of (1) with N,N-dimethylacetamide dimethyl acetal to obtain 7-dimethylamino-2,2-dimethyl-6-ene-3,5-suberic aldehyde-0,0-boron difluoride; (3). cyclizing the product of (2) by perchloric acid to obtain 2-methyl-6-tert-butyl-pyrone; (4). refluxing the solution of the product of (3) and malononitrile in acetic anhydride, condensing, adding the alcohol solvent for recrystallizing and obtaining the target compound.
