Abstract:
A synthetic resin bottle-shaped vessel (1) having annular grooves (10) extending along the outer surface of a body part (3), wherein the annular grooves (10) are limited by groove bottom walls (11) and groove side walls (12a, 12b) continued from the groove bottom walls (11) to the outer surface of the body part (3). The groove side walls (12a, 12b) of the annular grooves (10) generally linearly extend in the longitudinal cross section of the body part (3) including the center axis (A) thereof. The groove side walls (12a, 12b) of at least one annual groove (10) comprise tilt angles (&agr ,β) of 20° or less relative to a reference line (L) orthogonal to the center axis (A) of the body part (3) in the longitudinal cross section of the container (1).
