Abstract:
A wearable electronic device according to an embodiment may comprise a sensor module, a location measurement module, a communication module, and a processor. The processor according to an embodiment may request an external wearable electronic device connected by communication through the communication module to calculate posture information of the external wearable electronic device, if identifying the execution of a location-based application. The processor according to an embodiment may request reception of the posture information of the external wearable electronic device from the external wearable electronic device, if identifying that receive sensitivity of a location signal is less than or equal to a threshold level while detecting the direction of movement of the wearable electronic device on the basis of the location signal received from the location measurement module. The processor according to an embodiment may detect the direction of movement of the wearable electronic device by applying, to pedestrian dead reckoning navigation, the posture information received from the external wearable electronic device.
