Abstract:
[Problem] To remove the need for a physical lock for an already installed door, and enable locking/unlocking even by a user not in possession of a smartphone. [Solution] This locking/unlocking system 100 is characterized by comprising: an acquisition terminal 10 installed so as to acquire biometric information of a person located in front of a door D; a locking/unlocking device 20 attached to a thumb turn S that is provided on the indoor-side of the door D; and a server 30 for authenticating the exit/entry qualification for said person with respect to the door on the basis of the biometric information of the person. The locking/unlocking system 100 is also characterized in that the locking/unlocking device 20 operates the thumb turn S in accordance with the authentication result.
