A system for hydrocarbon production which comprises a hydrogen compound member, a reactor for accommodating the hydrogen compound member, a heater for heating the interior of the reactor, a gas feeder for feeding a gas comprising carbon dioxide to the interior of the reactor, and a water feeder for feeding water to the interior of the reactor.
