Title:
SYSTEM IDENTIFICATION DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2015/118737
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
In order to eliminate trial and error from the determination of system dimension, always determine the optimum system dimension, and enable the identification of a linear discrete-time system delineating a dynamic system, with the impulse response of the dynamic system that is the subject of identification and a search range for the system dimension as inputs, this system identification device is provided with: a direct item identification unit; a block Hankel matrix generation unit; a singular value decomposition unit that, by means of singular value decomposition of the block Hankel matrix, outputs a first orthogonal matrix, a second orthogonal matrix, and a singular value; a system dimension determination unit that, on the basis of the first orthogonal matrix, second orthogonal matrix, singular value, and search range, identifies a system matrix other than a direct item with respect to each dimension belonging to the search range, and from a comparison of the actual system characteristics and system characteristics calculated on the basis of the system matrix and direct item, determines the system dimension; and a system matrix identification unit that identifies a system matrix other than the direct item on the basis of the first orthogonal matrix, second orthogonal matrix, singular value, and system dimension.
