The present application discloses a system information receiving method, a sending method, a device, a terminal, and a storage medium, pertaining to the technical field of communications. The method comprises: receiving broadcast information in a sidelink broadcast channel; acquiring indication information; and determining, according to the indication information, system information carried in the broadcast information. The present application determines, according to the indication information, the system information carried in the broadcast information, such that terminals outside of a cell are capable of correctly receiving and parsing the system information whether the system information is from an eNB or gNB, thereby preventing interference generated by the terminals outside of the cell on data transmission on downlink sub-frames, and improving communication quality of vehicle-to-everything systems.
