Abstract:
Disclosed is a system lubricant oil composition for a crosshead-type diesel engine, in which the increase in viscosity can be prevented so as to prevent the deterioration in fuel cost. The system lubricant oil composition is characterized by comprising (A) (a-1) a star polymer having a vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon structure in the molecule and/or (a-2) an ethylene-(α-olefin) copolymer or a hydride thereof in a mineral oil and/or a synthetic oil as a base oil, wherein the composition has a base value of 4 to 20 mgKOH/g and a kinematic viscosity of 7.5 to 15.0 mm2/s at 100˚C.
