Abstract:
To enable a work machine (2) to be monitored in a simple manner. A system (1) for monitoring the work machine (2) is provided with: a first communication device (10) positioned at a holding location (P) for the work machine (2) and/or in the vicinity of the holding location (P), the first communication device (10) being able to communicate wirelessly; a second communication device (20) mounted on the work machine (2), the second communication device (20) being able to communicate wirelessly with the first communication device (10); and a monitoring unit (30) for monitoring the work machine (2) in which the second communication device (20) is mounted, the monitoring unit (30) monitoring the working machine (2) on the basis of communication between the first communication device (10) and the second communication device (20). The monitoring unit (30) starts monitoring the work machine (2) in which the second communication device (20) is mounted when information indicating that the work machine (2) is stationary is included in radio waves received by the first communication device (10).
