Abstract:
In order to provide a system and method for controlling parking of an autonomous vehicle, a vehicle control system, according to an embodiment of the present invention, is a system for controlling parking of an autonomous vehicle and comprises a vehicle control apparatus including a processor and a memory storing instructions executable by the processor, wherein the processor, by executing the instructions, obtains information related to the parking of the autonomous vehicle from a sensor provided in the autonomous vehicle or an external infrastructure sensor of the autonomous vehicle, determines a parking area on the basis of the information related to the parking of the autonomous vehicle, sets a parking path from the current location of the autonomous vehicle to the parking area, and controls the parking of the autonomous vehicle on the basis of the parking path.
