Abstract:
Disclosed are a system and a method for generating an invariant polarization transmission light field. The system comprises: a laser light source, a spatial light modulator, a computer, a first lens, a light shielding element, a first quarter-wave plate, a second quarter-wave plate, a second lens, and a light beam synthesis element. According to the system and the method for generating an invariant polarization transmission light field, two Laguerre-Gaussian mode light beams meeting a certain Gouy order relationship are generated, orthogonal uniform polarization is given to the two Laguerre-Gaussian mode light beams, then the two Laguerre-Gaussian mode light beams are focused on a Ronchi grating, and thus an invariant polarization transmission light field is stably synthesized. The light field generated by the present invention has linear polarization, elliptical polarization and circular polarization at the same time on the cross section thereof, and in addition, in the transmission process of the light field in a free space, except for normal light spot size scaling, the polarization distribution does not change.
