Abstract:
In a system for providing a point in accordance with a movement distance of a user who possesses a mobile phone terminal, improper acquisition of position information is prevented. Position information of a mobile phone and corresponding time information are acquired from GPS and base station information; a movement distance and a movement speed are calculated at every predetermined time interval; whether or not the movement is within a allowable range of the corresponding movement means is judged, with reference to a mobile body database in which timetables, etc., are registered, on the basis of the position information and the movement speed; and when it is judged that the movement is not within the allowable ranges of any of the movement means, the acquisition of the position information is judged as improper.
