Abstract:
A system for providing a messaging service using a subset font, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a transreceiving portion for receiving from a first mobile terminal a message to which a font is applied and font information corresponding to the font, along with receiver information, and transmitting to a second mobile terminal, which is identified through the receiver information, the message and the font information; an analysis portion for receiving from the second mobile terminal the message and a font request signal comprising the font information, and analyzing the message and the font information to extract a character string and a font name from the message and the font information, respectively; and a subset font generation portion for generating the subset font, which corresponds to the font string that is extracted, by using the font name that is extracted, wherein the transreceiving portion can transmit the subset font that is generated to the second mobile terminal.
