Abstract:
A system and method for an unmanned aerial vehicle to inspect a power transmission line. The method comprises: tracking a reflective ball by means of a laser tracker during the flight of an unmanned aerial vehicle, and establishing a coordinate system with the reflective ball as the coordinate origin, so as to obtain coordinate data of the unmanned aerial vehicle during the flight, thereby realizing initial positioning of the unmanned aerial vehicle; then calculating, by means of a laser dot-matrix transmitter, location data of the unmanned aerial vehicle relative to a power transmission line in real time; when the coordinate data meets a preset coordinate condition, performing flight control over the unmanned aerial vehicle by means of a flight control module and on the basis of the relative location data, so as to use the power transmission line as a location reference object and make the unmanned aerial vehicle fly along the power transmission line while maintaining the location of the unmanned aerial vehicle relative to the power transmission line, such that the unmanned aerial vehicle can still be accurately positioned when a positioning module of the unmanned aerial vehicle is unavailable due to electromagnetic interference, thereby effectively preventing the problem of inaccurate positioning caused by electromagnetic-field interference; and finally, collecting inspection image data of the power transmission line by means of a photographic device during the flight of the unmanned aerial vehicle.
