Abstract:
Described herein are a system and techniques for determining a level of fit for a product with respect to a user. The technique involves obtaining a first 3D model associated with a user and obtaining a second 3D model associated with a product. In this system the second 3D model is segmented into a plurality of segments, with each segment of the plurality of segments being associated with one or more material properties. The technique further involves fitting the second 3D model onto the first 3D model such that each segment of the plurality of segments is deformed by the first 3D model in accordance with the one or more material properties associated with each segment, and determining a level of fit for the user and the product based on a deformation of each segment of the plurality of segments.
