Abstract:
The present invention relates to a system for monitoring livestock and comprises: an ear tag case installed on an ear tag which is worn on the body of livestock and has information of corresponding livestock recorded thereon; a sensor unit installed to the ear tag case and detecting movement of corresponding livestock; an information collection part for collecting detection information detected by the sensor unit; and a state analysis part for analyzing state of the livestock on the basis of the detection information collected by the information collection part. The system for monitoring livestock according to the present invention is advantageous in that a state of corresponding livestock is analyzed on the basis of movement information provided from a sensor unit installed to an ear tag case to which an ear tag worn on livestock is mounted, and thus repulsion of livestock against the corresponding sensor unit can be reduced and data can be easily collected from the sensor unit.
