Abstract:
The present invention relates to a system for monitoring the state of vigilance of an operator (2) comprising:- a camera (1) furnished with a sensor responsive in the near infrared, - a circuit for real-time processing of the signals delivered by said camera (1), so as to determine characteristic points for each of said images and, by analysing said characteristic points, information relating to a part at least of the indicators comprising: o the inclination of the head in three orthogonal directions, o the position of the pupil o the opening of the eye o the configuration of the mouth - a computer controlled by a program determining the state of vigilance as a function of said indicators and of their temporal evolution.
