Abstract:
A system (29) for preventing unauthorized establishment of communication that prevents unauthorized communication between a terminal (2) and a communication counterpart (1) comprises: a measurement unit (30) disposed in the terminal and/or the communication counterpart, the measurement unit executing an unauthorized communication detection function and obtaining a measurement value based on the distance between the terminal and the communication counterpart; a process execution unit (33) that controls, on the basis of the result of a determination of whether the measurement value is appropriate, a wireless authentication operation between the terminal and the communication counterpart, the operation being performed even if the terminal is not being operated; a monitoring unit (36) that monitors the remaining battery amount (Vx) of the terminal; and a stop unit (37) that stops the unauthorized communication detection function when the remaining battery amount of the terminal has fallen below a limit amount at which the battery is not exhausted.
