Disclosed in the present invention are a table and an assembly method therefor. The table comprises a table top plate, a table top frame and several supports, wherein the table top plate is detachably mounted on the table top frame, and the table top frame is mounted on the several supports; and the table top plate is slidably mounted on the table top frame. A bolt member and a lockhole for cooperating with the bolt member are further provided, wherein the bolt member is mounted on the lower surface of the table top plate, and the lockhole is located at the table top frame; and when the table top plate slides on the table top frame to a tail end, the bolt member can extend into the lockhole and cooperate with the lockhole to stop the table top plate from sliding back on the table top frame. When the table in the solution is assembled, firstly the table top frame and the supports are fixed, and the table top plate merely needs to be slidably mounted on the table top frame, and then slides in a specific direction, thus completing assembly; in addition, when disassembled, the table can be disassembled merely by operating a handle.
