Abstract:
A non-conventional tablet feeder capable of splitting a tablet (T) without moving a cutter (cutting blade) and capable of individually dispensing split tablet pieces (T1, T2). A rotor (24) is contained in a container (21) in which a large number of tablets (T) are contained. A rotor containing section of the container is formed in a tubular shape having a closed bottom, is provided with a tablet discharge opening (27) in the bottom, and equipped with a fixed blade (33) on the outer side of the rotor containing section. Containing grooves (25) each containing a single tablet are formed at equal intervals along the entire circumference of the side surface of the rotor, and a circumferential groove in which the fixed blade and a support section enter is also formed in the side surface of the rotor. A tablet contained in a containing groove is moved by rotation of the rotor, and while being guided by the inner wall surface of the rotor containing section, the tablet is split by the fixed blade. When the tablet is split by the fixed blade, a lower tablet piece (T1) is discharged from a discharge opening (27), and an upper tablet piece (T2) is held on the fixed blade and discharged with a time lag to the discharge opening when the rotor is further rotated.
